In May 2015, Chinese cybersecurity company Qihoo 360 released a report on a threat group they call OceanLotus.
The report detailed targeted attacks against Chinese government agencies, maritime institutions, research organizations, and shipping enterprises since 2012.
The attacks were described as state-sponsored, but no nation named as a likely culprit.
