Malware "LokiBot" distribution activity-exploitation of vulnerabilities in social engineering and old IE

Trend Micro recently detected an aggressive malware delivery activity that exploited an old vulnerability and spread LokiBot in multiple ways. In this blog post, Trend Micro will give you an example of the techniques used in a series of activities, and give you a quick analysis of the payload. Trend Micro has found that one of the attacker's command and control (C&C) servers is able to browse the directory and obtain updated samples.
