VERY IMPORTANT

A recently created ransomware malware, BlackCat, was used in an attack during the month January 2022 against the oil companies Oiltanking and Mabanaft. The attack barely impacted the end customers, but it reminded the cybersecurity community of last year’s Colonial Pipeline attack.
