ESET detected multiple AceCryptor+Rescoms campaigns in European countries, mainly Poland, Bulgaria, Spain, and Serbia in the second half of 2023. The campaigns targeted local companies via spam emails containing malicious ISO and archive attachments. The goal was to obtain credentials stored in browsers or email clients for further attacks.
